DER GARADASEE - LAGO di GARDA - BENACUS
Lake Garda is as diverse as its name…
Lake Garda is among the largest lakes in Italy and has always been popular with guests for its beautiful beaches and wonderful landscape. Information about Lake Garda, excursions and more. We would like to organize your wellness stay on Lake Garda. Enchanting villages with fantastic landscapes line up on the shores of Lake Garda from north to south. Riva del Garda, Torbole and the Lido of Arco on Garda Trentino in the north are sailing and surfing paradises, not to talk of Malcesine.
This is also where the Riviera degli Olivi begins, the “olive tree riviera”, which stretches with picturesque bays, pretty villages and old castles for more than 50 kilometres to the south of Peschiera del Garda. Lake Garda is embedded in a varied landscape. In the north of the lake mountains rise up to 2000 meters. The south, on the other hand, is on one level. While windsurfers and cyclists are active in the north, the south is perfect for families and bathers as well as for exploring. The mild climate of Lake Garda favors the lush nature with palm trees, oleanders, orange and lemon trees, vines, olive trees and many other plants. Vineyards and olive groves dominate the landscape on the south-eastern Lake Garda, where excellent wine and very good olive oil are produced.

Location of the Golf & wellness-Hotels by Lake Garda
The Villa Luisa Golf & Wellness SPA Resort is located in San Felice del Benaco. San Felice is about 35 km from Brescia and is located on the west coast of Lake Garda, anciently known as BENACUS or Benaco, and borders Manerba in the south, Salò in the north, and Puegnago in the west. The area extends over three small hamlets, San Felice, Portese and Cisano; and is located on a promontory formed by moraines, between the Gulf of Manerba and the Gulf of Salò, and the mountains Croce, Campagnolo and St. Caterina. The Isola del Garda, which is owned by the noble family Boghese Cavazza, also belongs to the community of San Felice.
Community Church
It was built in Baroque style by Antonio Corbellini between 1740 and 1781, and is dedicated to SS. Felice, Adauto and Flavia. The 16th century Pala del Romanino, the frescoes by Carlo Innocenzo Carloni and Giosuè Scotti from 1760 and the birth of Christ by Zenon Veronese in the sacristy are all of particular importance.
Carmine Sanctuary
The 15th century Carmel Church is dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine.
The stately house is characteristic of the last stage of Gothic-Lombard architecture, in its simple form: “rustic”, strictly tied to the Romanesque tradition.
The main entrance is a pointed arch portal with a central rose window and two side windows. It was architecturally restored between 1954 and 1959 while the paintings were restored from 1963.
Construction of the Santa Maria del Carmine began on the site of a small chapel with the support of Ludovico II Gonzaga and his son Cardinal Francesco in 1460. The inauguration took place in 1482, although it had been in operation since 1452.
Today it is the destination of many pilgrims from all over the world. On the fourth weekend of July, on Saturday the statue of the Madonna of Carmel is taken in a solemn procession from the sanctuary to the parish church of San Felice; the next day, Sunday, the statue is ceremoniously brought back to the pilgrimage church through the village decorated with flowers and garlands.
